FUN
The most important rule is for you and your family to have fun and enjoy yourself in the heart of Cleveland at Whiskey Island Marina! For the safety and well being of everyone, all boaters and visitors within the Marina are subject to the following Harbor Rules.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
State liquor licensing laws prohibit the consumption of alcohol on land unless purchased at the marina-operated restaurant/bar. Outside alcohol may be taken directly to your vessel and consumed on board. You may not walk off the docks with outside alcohol. THIS IS A STATE LAW and you are subject to being cited by the Cleveland Metropark Rangers or other Law Enforcement Agencies.
PETS
Pets must be leashed and under your control and care at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets. Pets are not permitted in the marina restaurant or Boater’s Bath House, and may not be left tied to marina facilities (i.e. picnic tables, signs, doors, trees, etc.), unaccompanied by owner.
The extreme temperature’s during the summer months here in Cleveland are not only uncomfortable, but can be outright unbearable and dangerous for all of us as well, especially our pets. Here at the Whiskey Island Still & Eatery, we absolutely love our pets. As a dog friendly establishment, the overall safety and welfare of our furry friends is paramount. As such, when the heat index outside reaches 90 degrees or more, dogs will not be permitted at the Whiskey Island Still & Eatery. It’s important to note that pets are at risk for heatstroke once the outside temperature hits at least 85 degrees and a humidity of at least 90 percent. Remember to never leave your pet in a vehicle, even if it’s for just a minute. Thank you for your understanding, and assistance in keeping everyone safe & comfortable! 🐾
FISHING
Fishing is NOT permitted anywhere within the Marina. The cleaning of fish is permitted only within the fish cleaning hut. All fish scraps must be bagged and removed from the property. Discarding fish scraps within any garbage container or trash dumpster on marina property is strictly prohibited.
GRILLS / BONFIRES
Because of fire hazards, the use of grills (including those that attach to boats) on the docks is prohibited. City Ordinances prohibit bonfires. Use of personal grills on land is permitted; however, they must be removed from Marina grounds when not in use. If left out over night, the marina will remove and discard them with no liability to the marina. Do not dispose of charcoal on the lawn.
